O knihe

Toxoplasmosis is an antropozoonosis caused by an obligate intracellular protozoan parasite Toxoplasma gondii.Humans are infected by ingesting raw or bleeding meat, contaminated raw vegetables, unpasteurized milk, we will focus on contamination by the cat (reservoir of the parasite) or its feces. We wanted to determine the prevalence of toxoplasmosis in patients seen at the Duflo medical practice in Mopti, to establish a correlation between risk factors and toxoplasma infection, to identify the history of fetopathy in our patients and the therapeutic arsenal used during our study. To achieve our objectives we undertook from June 10, 2016 to December 10, 2017 a prospective study of 242 patients with ToxoLatex positive serologies versus 176 patients with negative serologies.
