O knihe

Milan Horňák Pohrebisko lužickej kultúry v Sklabinskom Podzámku Gräberfeld der Lausitzer-Kultur in Sklabinský Podzámok (Slov. Arch. 53/2, 2005, 203-218) A Lusatian-culture tumulus burial ground in Sklabinský Podzámok was excavated more than 50 years ago. Analysis of the grave material - pottery and bronze artefacts first of all, set the time of burying into the turn of the BD/HA1 stages or to the beginning of the HA1 stage. New information concerning the Lusatian culture development in the Turiec region and space structure of its settlement in the early Bronze Age was gained. Arch. 53/2, 2005, 219-236) A pottery collection that reflects evident relations with cultures living in the area of the Carpathian basin comes from settlement sites of the Lusatian culture in the western part of Little Poland. The collection of finds can be dated into the phases of HA1-HA2 and it can be connected with the process of spreading of the Belegiš II culture stylistic tradition. Orsolya Heinrich-Tamaska Spätawarenzeiliche Funde in den Beständen des Museums für Vor- und Frühgeschichte Berlin und des Kunstgewerbemuseums Hamburg Neskoroavarské nálezy v zbierkach Múzea pre pravek a dobu včasnodejinnú v Berlíne a Umeleckopriemyselného múzea v Hamburgu (Slov. Arch. 53/2, 2005, 237-264) The artefacts presented are deposited in the Museum für Vor- und Frühgeschichte Berlin and in the Kunstgewerbemuseum Hamburg. They are typical representants of the late Avar horizon in the Carpathian basin. In the study their finding circumstances and relative chronology are explained. Gabriel Fusek - Ján Spišiak Vrcholnostredoveká grafitová keramika z Nitry-Šindolky. Archeológia a mineralógia Hochmittelalterliche Graphitkeramik von Nitra-Šindolka. Archäologie und Mineralogie (Slov. Arch. 53/2, 2005, 265-336) Typological analysis of graphite pottery allowed dating of a medieval settlement at the site in Nitra-Šindolka into two phases – from the middle of the 11th to the middle of the 12th century and into the second half of the 12th century. Archaeological and mineralogical analyse proved its origin in Moravia. Products made in Lower-Austrian workshops are present in towns along the river Danube, from Bratislava to Budapest, as well as in the countryside of northwestern Hungary. Finds of Moravian origin, on the other hand, come from the west Slovakia. Vladimír Hašek - Věra Glisníková Anteil der geophysikalischen Methoden an der archäologischen Erforschung der unterirdischen Räume Podíl geofyzikálních metod při archeologickém výzkumu podzemních prostorů (Slov. Arch. 53/2, 2005, 337-362) The utilization of geophysical methods for the localization of historical underground spaces within archaeological investigation was in the Czech Republic started in the beginning of the 1970s and has been continuing up to the present. At the conclusion of this paper are presented the case studies which document the above mentioned objectives.
